👁️The items include eyeballs, posters, ventriloquist dolls and a puppet theatre, as well as stunning videography that brings all the objects to life.

It’s open weekends from 10am to 4pm and also includes a young writers challenge.

I was honoured to be the keynote speaker at the QSLA Future Libraries Conference last month, where I also got to present awards to teacher librarians for their contributions in Queensland's school library communities.

My visit to The School at Columbia University today, where a group of very excited kids responded to the image of Johnny Knucklehead on my powerpoint with a resounding chorus of 𝗝𝗢𝗛𝗡𝗡𝗬 𝗞𝗡𝗨𝗖𝗞𝗟𝗘𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗗!!! followed by a big cheer.

HINT: If you don’t have a box, you can use a paper bag instead!

Then, onto University School of Milwaukee, where the adventure helmet scene went up another notch. These students were next-level inventors! I spotted helmets with rabbit's foot detecting antennas, all seeing eyeballs and even egg carton mohawks.

Brookfield Elementary kicked off the day with an avalanche of energy and enthusiasm from students, and a banana.

Wow! Milwaukee truly outdid itself in the adventure department.
