yeah, that's what i thought they were gonna do
space it out so it doesn't feel as crowded and overwhelming, while still having just enough elements to also please fans who enjoyed the games

if it's all just references i'd rather just play the games

if it were up to me, i would've saved the Galaxy elements for the 3rd movie at least

btw if you're wondering what i think of the mario galaxy movie
not to sound like a pessimistic pete, but i think there's way too much going on, and i doubt they took any notes about the pacing issues from the first film
prolly either gonna wait for the reviews or skip it altogether
