LOVED this wild and terrifying novel!
For #WorldBookDay, this lovely message from Professor Luke Kennard (Film & Creative Writing, University of Birmingham) @lukekennard.bsky.social @worldbookdayuk.bsky.social
A cardboard box with open lid and inside, copies of The Coast of Everything, the forthcoming novel by Guillermo Stitch.
Such a photograph, I'm led to believe, is de rigeur.
here's a glimpse of my short story Artemis at the venerable @exactingclam.bsky.social.
One of the reads of my life.

Wherein, at the invitation of @jonathangibbs.bsky.social, I write about twelve brilliant stories by twelve brilliant writers, some of whom are alive @egangoonsquad.bsky.social @theactualemma.bsky.social @cdrose.bsky.social.
I enjoyed this!

Compelling
absolute banger
The reviewer continues: " I can easily imagine someone else giving it one star β and I wouldnβt even argue with them β but Iβd struggle more to agree with a three-star review. What a joy to read an author unafraid to be a little bit batshit."
I wouldn't argue either.
The latest on Goodreads (about Lake of Urine)
"A bizarre slapstick parody that feels like Foster Wallace, Kennedy Toole, and Pynchon filtered through an Irish creative writing program steeped in Joyce and O'Brien."
Up to my chin in Mann this year. 'Dr Faustus' and now 'Lotte in Weimar'. He doesn't really concern himself with forward propulsion does he? It's as if he thinks all that is up to the reader.
Canβt tell you what this means to me, Jeff. A fellow writer who has decided to read only small press books this year wrote to me and asked me to recommend what I thought were the best in the last ten years. I recommended three. Hashtag was one of them.
This early review is a drop of sunshine in an otherwise dark and stormy Jan/Feb. βStitch takes the reader deeper into a book than any author has ever done beforeβ. Deepest thanks. #books #booksky

Thanks @alinaetc.bsky.social!
I am always drawn to images of almost nothing. Almost, but not quite.
I'm not even comfortable admitting to the fact that I have a preferred podcast, but if I did . . .
Read.
βNo Storiesβ, a short story of mine online at The Georgia Review. www.thegeorgiareview.com/posts/no-sto...
You didn't consider confronting him? Moment of growth for you both, potentially.
If this brilliant installment of Monkeybicycle's "If My Book" column doesn't make you rush out & demand a copy of Kurt Luchs' TRIBUTARIES from your local bookstore (or equiv.) then you have our permission to eat your hat. Sauce optional.
