Ended up scratching my cornea and giving myself an eye ulcer a couple of days ago. Between that and the flu shot on Friday, I've been under the weather so spent today finishing up this Magic Pharmacist book nook. Fun details but for some reason all I got were Anise stickers for the drawers lol.

My random pumpkin plant finally had a female flower a few days ago, but it was raining so no bees were around to pollinate it. Did the hand pollination thing and I think it was successful. The ball at the bottom there looks larger so hopefully it will grow. No idea why it's flowering NOW though…

My randomly growing pumpkin plant has finally decided to flower. (It's a male flower so this will be moot if a lady flower doesn't show up). I feel like it's a bit late in the season to be starting this process but guess we will see.

Adopted parakeet Starry

So, we now have a friend for Gutters! Currently in a quarantine cage, we adopted Starry from the shelter. Also a found bird, we don't have any history on him, but he had been there for a month and looked sad. Hopefully they will get along. ^_^
