Definitely one of my favorite scores from this game so far.

I'm kinda fond of Perpetua. There's this ugly beauty to it all. Something about turning the usual swamp level into a ashy, almost snow-like setting is both gloomy and beautiful in a way. Though the music that plays during this segment really helps.
Pokopia title logo, but altered to spell out "Prince Marine: The Dandy Robot."
Okay, late, but I made a proper Pokopia to advertise my webcomic. You can read it here: dandyrobotcomic.com
It's got pretty robots. It's got aliens. It's got some shojo, some collect-a-thons, some fashion, and a hell of a lot of grand adventures,

Luigi cocking a gun: โOkey-dokey.โ
A drawing of Kiryu stuck in a kids toy car that he is way too big for. He is sticking out the sides at an awkward angle and grimacing down at his body. There are two speech bubbles on the left of the image. The top one with a light blue background says โUncle Kaz, I want a turn!โ. The one below with a pink background says โis he stuck?? Hahaha!โ
Someone call the neighbors, Kiryuโs stuck in the kiddie car again! He never learns ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ #Yakuza #KiryuKazuma #YakuzaKiwami3
That is genuinely what I was hoping for. I need anotber DQB game in my heart and if Pokopia fills it, all the better.
New Castoff page, and so ends chapter 13.

But, yeah, this is a good show. A lovely show, even.
Which I think helps Pomni feel less anxious because others, who have since treated Caine's bullshit so casually, are still human underneath. Ya know, connection and friendship and all that.
The spotlights we've seen so far through Pomni's POV has served to reveal just who is behind their digital avatars and it seems like she's the one consistent listening to their issues and/or recognizing something is wrong with them.
But yeah, I'm at the halfway point of the show and I'm seeing why people like it. There's an immediate emotional earnestness with each episode. I was genuinely expecting something a lot more meme-y and obnoxiously weird, but the weirdness is really just a background noise for character moments.
I'm at a loss on what Kingler's chess piece/King piece might be representative of. Did he felt like a King AKA a million bucks, when he was alongside his wife, his Queen?
Okay, soooo... Ganger tries different masks because she's deeply insecure and upset with her current depression and it's easier to try and fake it. Uhhh, Zooble is probably trans/NB, but hasn't yet found a specific appearance and body that defines them as them.
I assume everyone got to the digital world ala a VR headset, but Gangle almost running into that truck is damning. Either that happened to her before, or it's something she wished it happened to, which... damn.
I just wrapped up episode 4 and that one joke with Gangle talking about how you're pretty much fucked if you wanna be a webcomic artist in this environment, so you might as well work fast food might be more true than I thought. If not 1:1, it sounds like this is what Gangle wanted to do.
Ahh, okay, so they do talk about their real life selves, just in a sorta roundabout way. Like it's interesting because the episode doesn't SAY Gangle worked in fast food, only that she worked as a "shift manager" before, but it's pretty heavily implied.

Caine from "The Amazing Digital Circus" reads a suggestion. CAINE: "Let's have one where we all work at a fast food place."
Who the heck wrote that in the suggestion box? Girl, no, you do not want to work in a fast food place. Take it from a former barista, do not do it.
Is her body, or anyone's body, okay in the real world? Or if she returns, it's gonna be one of those things where, like, only an hour passed?
Does time also work differently in the digital circus? Pomni mentioned she wore a VR set that got her stuck in this world, and the first episode hinted she did this from a desktop from, I assume, her room.
I'm guessing this will be An Important Plot Point in the future. *shrugs*
Also, is there something specific in the digital circus that prevents any of these characters from talking about who they were before they were sucked into the digiworld? Like Kingler mentioned a wife, but is she his irl wife or a program he fell for?
It feels like he knows exactly what he is compared to the NPCs, but he also has enough self-awareness to dread questioning his position that the only way to create order is to maintain the rules that he was programmed to do. Assuming he's also not a real person stuck in the game.
So Caine freaking out when he feels doubt about his purpose makes his zapping of Gummigoo a hell of a lot more sense. I'm going to guess he's a program above an NPC, I guess akin to the digital world's Big Bad or at least its chief obstacle, so his programming is more advanced.
Screencap from "The Amazing Digital Circus." Zooble is a being who is comprised of many mishap shapes and colors. ZOOBLE: I hate this body.
Trans coming out story in my Digital Circus? It's more likely than you think.
Well, alright, I kinda like the design of the giant scary horror monster face in episode 3. The animators nailed Youtube creepypasta aesthetic really damn well.
Also I've been informed Digital Circus is an eight episode run, so I get needing to get the ball rolling.
