i think this is what drives me nuts. people talk about how, say, the UN was founded by "starry eyed idealists" who didn't understand "reality." the truth is that the UN was founded by those who had just fought and *won* the bloodiest war in human history.

Jewish men like Woody Allen and Philip Roth spent a lot of their careers making art about how Jewish women are unappealing and wow did that affect me. We have historically gotten that and then the hypersexualization of Monica Lewinsky. Not great!

Feds Create Drone No Fly Zone That Would Stop People Filming ICE The FAA has altered a no fly zone designation that was originally created for US military bases to apply to DHS units.

In our latest: The feds created a drone no fly zone to stop people from recording ICE.

The order appears to attempt to criminalize the use of drones to film Immigration and Customs Enforcement and DHS employees who are detaining people all over the country.

I love immigrants. They come here looking for a better life and in exchange bring their food, culture, music making the country a better, more diverse and interesting place. I would choose them as my neighbors over someone who hates them on principle every fucking time.
