you could also just use a concealer on the blemishes only if you have just a few, but you'd need to like, colour match perfectly so it doesn't just look itself like a blob of a copper blemish on your skin otherwise

if you do have the boon of perfect skin there are clear primers so you won't need to use foundation followed by other stuff to get colour and depth back in

two reasons!

the first is that for most people, our skin does not have an even tone, we are instead covered in blemishes. if one's skin is so perfect that it genuinely does look exactly the same before and after, that's OP hax

two is to prime the skin esp for powders so they actually stick
