Well, gas is expensive, and food is expensive, and weβre doing a war nobody wants, but at least there are no jobs

I maintain that simply arresting Elon musk and making a real example of him is the quickest way to global stability

When I wrote a piece about my son's love of reading in January, I included this bit because I refuse to hear lectures about literacy rates from the selfsame ghouls and vandals who've cheered on as the UK's apparatus for childhood reading has been stripped to the wiring and sold off for scrap.

The FT reports Government is "back to drawing board over destroying creatives copyright". Lords Cttee says "would be a very poor bet for the government to allow changes to copyright that could undermine the UKβs creative industriesβ.

Itβs bad to go cold turkey. Iβm afraid you must watch something sexy again.
This is worrying. You may already have had too much Sexy Exposure.
Oops.
You should let me know the timestamp so I can make certain I avoid it.
Definitely.
I shall have to take that risk.
I, as an upstanding and uncorruptible member of the community, am reluctantly prepared to volunteer.
The fact that there is a Markwayne and a John Wayne implies the existence of a Matthewwayne and a Lukewayne.
This is what Rumsfeld would call an Unnoem Unnoem
Absolutely. Depravity. Who knows what it might do to you.
Best get someone to let you know the timestamps of such filth, so you know exactly when to close your eyes.
Cover your eyes. This filth is not for decent women such as you!
Artists! I am looking for a Jewish illustrator for a middle-grade project focusing on Jewish history, practice, and culture. If your style feels fun, MG-appropriate, and both editorial & narrative, please drop a link or DM! (And editor & agent friends, if you have someone to rec, it's appreciated!)
It's not that AI is useless.
It's that AI is useful like asbestos was useful.
Imaging a human saying to you, "i will only ever tell you what i think you want to hear, based on what i know about ppl like you, how you start our conversation, & what you say during it. Sometimes that will sound like truth, sometimes like errors or lies. Now: Let's talk about your medical history"
Wonderfully I saw a young banjo player doing a video on TikTok, and she was saying she only just found out her favourite banjo player was also a comedian. And lots of old men were mad in her comments that she never knew Steve Martin was also a comedian.
Mine did.
UPDATE: dude you would not believe the stories Iβm hearing about this woman from like 8 other people since I put this post up.
And in an absolute *maximum* of five years, almost certainly a lot less, you'll have the chance to chuck them out if you disagree.
There's absolutely no need for a byelection. It's a waste of time, money, and effort for all concerned.
Should they decide that your interests are better-served by them taking the whip of a different party, or serving as an independent, they should absolutely have the right to make that choice.
And after that, they'll be judged for that choice and the others made after by you, their constituents.
I fundamentally disagree with the idea that a byelection should be held when an MP defects.
In the UK, you *very specifically* vote for an MP rather than a political party. That MP's duty is to look after you, their constituents, above all else.
"The British State is unable to articulate a consistent strategy with regard to basic financial principles" appears to be a thing which has been going on for ages and nobody cared.
Well I hate to imagine what a *worse* political strategist would do to the polling.
