Mixed feelings, I love Randy Rainbow's work but although he credits musicians on his latest video he doesn't credit any visual artists, and includes YouTube's "altered or synthetic content" tag.

I always called it balloon lettering, though I wouldn't have heard that from any authoritative source -- when I was a kid I drew my brother's rock band's name ("The Sons of Time") that way for his posters in the late 1960s.
I think everyone in the fandom who goes to conventions should try volunteering a tiny bit at a convention. It’s not as bad as you think.

For creatives who don't know how to price their work, my rule of thumb is: If the price makes you uncomfortable, that should be your minimum.
Too often, almost always honestly, artists & creatives underprice & undervalue our work, cutting ourselves short. We deserve to be paid for our work.

Have you studied any principles of lighting for photography or movies? Cinematographers learn how to balance natural and artificial light sources to produce a pleasing result. It's rare for a scene ever to be solely naturally lit.
Years ago I was an announcer at a small-town radio station reading want ads on the air. One business was hiring "sewers" but I didn't realize they meant people to sew, so I pronounced it the other way. (Later they changed the script.)
Please, please, PLEASE remember & respect that the individuals who come together to VOLUNTEER their personal, free time to put together/host any & all furry conventions are, at a minimum, doing the work FOR FREE, as VOLUNTEERS!

The print cartoonists of the past didn't have to suffer fools the way online cartoonists do, since people people had to physically write their criticism and pay to mail it. Even then probably someone at the publisher/syndicate simply didn't forward any negative criticism.
I'm really sorry you had to go through all that. I've enjoyed your creativity and appreciated all the characters and story arcs, and I'm now sorry I didn't let you know at the time, but I generally avoid reading the comments on the comics I follow.
