If possible, give yourself time to polish! Try to have a running build significantly earlier than the deadline.

Genuine response: shareholder capitalism. Once all of these big companies went public, they now had to deliver year over year profits. Thats inherently unsustainable/impossible, and even more so when you aren’t selling a uniform product: art. They want their money and they want it now.
