7/ Plants are releasing pollen ~40 days earlier and stopping pollination about 2 weeks later than they used to, largely because of rising temperatures. Higher CO₂ levels cause plants to produce more pollen which means more “pollen grains” in the air and more chances for your immune system to react.
I never had the sense that the activists were in charge on this one. It feels like a real grassroots, networked kind of thing. We shall see.
