I know I’ve been quiet on here and on TikTok but my situation has been rough lately in many ways. I’m still here though, and that is enough for now. Regardless of how much shit sucks in life, you’re still here and that’s pretty cool

It’s made up of no less than 5 members of military court or a lone military judge unless it’s a capital crime. And while I don’t know how exactly they are appointed, they are appointed through JAG unlike a civilian judge

By that I mean if there is an order that is issued it has to follow the UCMJ guidelines and if the military court finds that such an order is unlawful, then the service member can be charged. Such as the case of William Calley in 1968 and the My Lai Massacre

The part of the oath that says “I will obey the orders of the president of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, ACCORDING TO REGULATIONS AND THE UNIFORM CODE OF MILITARY JUSTICE” is important. That is the guideline for all military conduct
