The scale of the ecological damage is profound and we're already one of the most deprived countries in the world. The case for airport investment is flimsy at best, with SAF and sustainable flight very suspect. We need rail investment to genuinely interconnect our country.

Thanks to Watford Council, Friends of Cassiobury Park, Community connections and the many volunteers from near and far for supporting the tree planting today in our beautiful Whippendel Woods! Today hundreds of trees were planted of the 3,000 we have planned for the area.

Agree - we should promote trade globally. I think Britain with a customs union with Europe will strengthen our hand in striking those deals. I think he's trying to make the point that those 'pacific area' deals will be less impactful to our economy than addressing the elephant in the room that is EU
Limiting access to the world's largest market has stifled our economy, and our freedoms have diminished.
Our future is best served by a Britain leading. Leading in Europe, leading on world affairs. Let's see @libdems.org.uk lead a return to internationalist, ambitious, politics.

In the afternoon, I squeezed in a beautiful winter walk with the pup along part of our vital Chak Stream, the River Colne. Can't stress just how stunning it was.

Great to join the brilliant team and volunteers of Rotary Club of Watford tonight in Courtlands for a leg of this year's brilliant Santa Sleigh! Was great to see the decorations up and people of all ages enjoying see Santa!
🎄Started getting into the festive spirit by attending the Callowland Christmas lights switch-on organised by Cllr Dawn Allen-Williamson and supporting the amazing team at Waford Salvation Army with their Christmas donation appeal.
🚲Helped launch the Green Loop with @watfordmayor, @spokes_cycling_group and @watfordcyclehub - a brilliant new signed route around the centre of town connecting many of our green spaces!
