June is #DeafblindAwarenessMonth. We’re proud to fund over $1.8mil since 2022 to support #intervenerservices helping more people who are #deafblind connect to their communities & services they need. Thank you to CNIB Deaf Blind Community Services & the Wavefront Centre for leading this vital work.
Canadian provinces, including Ontario, Alberta and BC have experienced an increase in extortion crimes in recent years. I’m asking Prime Minister Mark Carney and his government to take action to designate groups engaged in extortion and related crimes as terrorist entities under the Criminal Code.
