Would it be possible to not redirect errors to a different URL? I keep losing the URL every time I try to access the archive because it goes to web.archive.org/sry instead.

When I mentioned that, they flipped some switch on my account that is apparently used by Copilot abuse detection, and now it's gone for good (except a tab in the Settings).

10/10 would recommend

I managed to get Copilot removed from pretty much everywhere on @github.com by contacting their support!

First I asked them to remove complimentary free access to Copilot Pro, but I still kept seeing various Copilot buttons, and an option to assign Copilot as a reviewer.

Today in English headaches:

If the use of "a" vs. "an" depends on pronunication, is it correct to write "a AAA game company", assuming most people pronounce it "a triple-A" and not "an A-A-A"?

From a quick search, there are plenty of uses of both. I even found uses of both in the SAME ARTICLE!

In the spirit of hyper-optimizing my IDE, I made a tool to keep track of every vim binding I know or want to learn :3

A screenshot of 5 articles from various Microsoft blogs from the last day, all talking about Copilot.

I might have to start filtering my RSS feeds, I'm starting to get tired of @microsoft.com shoving Copilot into every fucking article.

I tried it for over a year, it's not even that useful. Constantly advertising your crap won't make me want to use it again.

JetBrains Writerside EAP Expiration Bypass JetBrains has discontinued the Writerside IDE in favor of the Writerside plugin. Since the IDE has always been in the Early Access Program (EAP), its builds expire after 30 days, meaning they can’t be...

New blog post: How to continue using the Writerside IDE by bypassing its EAP build expiration check.

How to ensure your software is bug-free: break your issue reporting software so it's impossible to create a new issue.

Actually fucking tired of @jetbrains.com stuff breaking every single day.

That was easy, but now it'll take me an eternity to write a tutorial for it.

Unfortunately, JetBrains decided to sunset the standalone Writerside IDE in favor of the plugin. I installed the plugin into IntelliJ, opened a project, and the IDE froze. Incredible.

Writerside EAP expires in 5 days, so I'm looking forward to reverse-engineering and bypassing the expiration check.

I'm genuinely tired of running into multiple brand new bugs in @jetbrains.com software on a weekly basis. At least we keep getting unfinished UI changes, instead of functioning software...

Trying to figure out what to name the app. Current names in consideration:
- BlueDuck (as an homage to my OG app)
- Steve

Looking into what it'd take to a Bluesky client, whose only purpose is showing desktop notifications in the style of my old TweetDuck app.

I want to keep this brutally lightweight - just API calls to get timeline updates, and a Windows Forms popup. No bundled Chromium.

The Onion Buys Alex Jones’s Infowars Out of Bankruptcy The satirical news site planned to turn Infowars into a parody of itself, mocking “weird internet personalities” who peddle conspiracy theories and health supplements.

Hi everyone.

The Onion, with the help of the Sandy Hook families, has purchased InfoWars.

We are planning on making it a very funny, very stupid website.

We have retained the services of some Onion and Clickhole Hall of Famers to pull this off.

I can't wait to show you what we have cooked up.

I’ve been on Bluesky for a while now and I’m glad a lot of new people are coming over from X, and if I had one tip for them it would be to get used to seeing drawings of beefy animals with dicks the size of Stanley tumblers.

Hi! You may know me from Minecraft mods, IntelliJ plugins, Discord History Tracker, or my old Twitter client TweetDuck.

I've been less active on social media overall since Twitter killed 3rd party clients, but I'll occasionally check here and post development updates as I've been doing on Mastodon.
