Not to mention the subsidies they get. It's a double whammy that they take tax dollars to subsidize their ventures, then avoid taxes almost entirely.

What a broken system.

TFW you hear the "clean" edit of a song and it is somehow more perverse than the original.

If it's a hard cover and they want $40+ it should be beautiful. Sprayed edges, spot gloss, leather bound etc

I am pretty nervous about the aliens coming in November though. 5 decades in a Colonial Occupation has taught me nothing good comes from welcoming strangers from distant lands.

It also finds that recipients’ arts-related income increased by over €500 per month on average, while their income from non-arts work decreased by around €280. Dependence on social protection declined, with recipients receiving €100 less per month on average, and 38 percentage points less likely to receive Jobseeker’s payments.

Ireland just released a report showing the huge success of the unconditional basic income it provided to artists. Each $1 spent led to society gaining $1.39. Artists' earned incomes went up more than their side job incomes fell. And they were happier and used less welfare

We aren’t jealous that some people are rich.

We’re angry that a handful of people have made themselves insanely wealthy by underpaying workers, cutting corners in ways that hurt people and our planet, and buying politicians to rewrite the rules in their favor.

There’s a big difference.

RFK jr: listen man, people need to just give me some of their hair, toe nails, whatever. I'll grind it up, then depending on what it is and how many people have come that day, I'll either smoke it or snort it.

Reporter: and they'll be healed?

RFK jr: I don't know man, the worms demand it.

My family gave me canned salmon after telling me the crazy stories about running the pots dry and ruining them etc. They seem to still be alive, but I can't make myself risk it. (medical advice is to try and reintroduce fish, still 98% vegetablarian)
