I saw Kevin MacAleer in a Covent Garden basement in 1990, it was the funniest thing I have ever seen. I'd actually gone there to see John Hegley, didn't even know Kevin's name, so it took me another 35 years to work out who he was - I never forgot his genius and finally the internet rescued me.
