Content warning, this is some really dark stuff
We did, but apparently most of it was blocked off over the years and no longer accessible.
I say we do as they did in 1776. Dump shipping containers into the sea and demand no taxation without representation.
Same, bro. Same. I'm ashamed. To be fair, though, I don't have any friends my age. I thought it was just me, but it turns out they all pretty much suck.
Check out a show on NHK called "Ramen Japan". Each prefecture has a local "style" of Ramen focusing on different broths (pork, beef, miso, etc) and toppings (pork, eggs, veggies, etc.). Some even pride themselves on handmade noodles.
No, they are the slightly more expensive Korean variety (maybe $2.00). Also, in Japan, Ramen is serious cuisine. The noodles in the cheap packs don't really hold up as well with robust toppings.
Thank you, I needed to hear that today.
If you don't think you can afford to strike or protest, you can't afford not to.
OMG, was that the La Hacienda Real on Wallace? They are amazing.
This is a book every American citizen should read right now.

What the actual fuck is right. This is very bad for the city.

I've decided to stop using the word "diverse" and instead use "anisotropic" because reasons.

Dear Democratic party leadership. Righteous indignation and outrage are not enough. What you say is true yet still not helpful.
My latest attempt at homemade Ramen. It's all about the broth. This is miso in a beef bouillon broth with garlic, star anise and bonito flakes. Topped with chashu pork and Chinese broccoli. #ラメン
13 years sounds like a long time, but a lot of systems I've worked on over the years had been running more or less unchanged for more than 20 years.
This is just a reminder to all my software development peeps that y2k38 is only 13 years from now. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Year_20....
Council seems to be punting the decision for tonight. In order to get something on the ballot, a decision will be needed by the next session on Feb 10.
Council has not reached consensus yet for the levy rate or what it would contain. They're on a path to push city staff to come up with more options at the last minute.
If a levy is passed at the baseline proposed option, the Library expects to extend the hours of operation and hire additional staff to cover the hours.
Chief financial officer just presented various levy options.
The city manager is presenting a proposal for the levy.
About 20 people are here wearing stickers in support of the library levy. The city recorder, city attorney and city manager are taking their seats and preparing.
Live from City council in Salem Oregon, the working meeting for funding of the library and other city services. Stay tuned for details.

If I recall correctly, I used an autoencoder to front the LSTM because raw fft data is wide and noisy, so the LSTM didn't learn much interesting. Using an autoencoder let me "compress" the audio into learnable features that helped the LSTM learn the time component better.
For audio, I did that once back in '18. It worked well to train an RNN.
