Happy to see this going public first it would seem, it's an absolutely outstanding mod as per usual from you.
If I may ask, what happens to players who aren't supporters? Do they just use their usual skin? Is a filter applied over it?
How do you check this?
I feel a large reason a lot of games from either smaller studios or just indies in general are often so optimized is that lack of crunch, you have time to make sure everythings of good quality and running well at that.
as a (mostly) solo dev with no real crunch, whilst I'm working on things I always am considering optim, often will go back through and make sure its as optimized as I can reasonably get it, of course this isn't feasible in an industry setting due to crunch, but it's interesting to think about.

I genuinely still cannot get over how good shadow gens is, just being in the year 2024 and having a sonic game release that isn't just "a step in the right direction" or "good BUT..." is such a relief man

what you lose in immediate length is more than made up for by the quality of the game imo, its short like gens still, which is why I'm not going to say you should spend $50 on it, but its super fucking good, wait for a sale
slightly shorter, but it has a lot more shit to do once you beat the game (collectables, new shit to unlock, hard mode versions of levels and bosses, etc)
I also think the game in general is just better than gens, story is better, gameplay is better, visuals are better, etc

you don't really care a lot about sonic so wait for the game to go on sale which will probably be.. a while from now, then just pick it up, it's already not even full price ($50 USD) so I'm sure it'll go down

This has been a loooooong project, been in somewhat active development for going on 3 years now. It's a passion project so we don't crunch or anything and we enjoy working on it, as such we don't have a release date or anything.
Should probably clarify what AllyPak is since people outside of the usual com are seeing these it would seem
AllyPak is a passion project mod for Fortnite built on Unreal 4.22 (currently), the mod aims to improve visuals, add new items, map changes, etc, all in a way that still feels like Fortnite.
