I did it! I did some tapping to ground myself and paid attention to what colors the sounds looked like and paid attention to where the sounds resonated in my body. I can’t wait for the next session 🤗
Couldn’t concentrate for shit at the last sound bath. I didn’t sleep worth a damn last night so I’m hoping for a more restful experience today.
Update, foot still hurts but not as badly. I’m going to move the walk around and look at pretty stuff activities to tomorrow but the sound bath and massage are a must.

I have an amazing Saturday planned. Art in Bloom, the orchid show, a sound bath and then a massage. And what did I do tonight? Twist and turn on my foot coming out of the Black history concert at the symphony tonight 😭 it hurts like hell & I keep trying to convince myself it’ll be fine in the a.m.

In more “working with teen girls will humble you,” today I had one kid locked in the bathroom refusing to come out because I asked her to repeat what she mumbled, not on some trying to be slick but I really didn’t hear what she said. Another kid walks up & says I look like the Princess & the Frog

Sometimes it is really crazy to me that I woke up one day at 50, decided to change careers, applied to grad school, got a masters in a completely different field, and found a job that aligns with something I’m passionate about.
Friend told me to stop by and pick up a Super Bowl plate. This girl sent me home with some 🔥 rotel & chips, 7-layer salad, wings, mostaccioli (IYKYK) and pineapple upside down cake.
Anyway, he numbed me at 8 and 5 hours later I’M STILL NUMB! I made the appointment for my other filling with his wife. I’ll just have to work out my schedule because I never want his dry ass again.
Was mad but I didn’t care. The hygienist was really nice but his crappy bedside manner and his refusal to play music in the room didn’t help. Music is a big coping skill for me & the only sounds in the room were the drill & some other machine so I didn’t have any distractions.
