I had the chance to explain what it means to be an MP and how I use my voice to represent our community. Whether at school, at home or in the wider community, every childβs voice matters and deserves to be heard.

What a pleasure it was to visit Wortham Primary School during Childrenβs Mental Health Week, with this yearβs theme being βThis Is My Placeβ. The children have been exploring what makes them feel a sense of belonging and that their voice matters.
There is much to welcome in the Govt Schools White Paper, especially on supporting young people earlier.
I asked the SoS for Education to recognise that more needs to be done to improve inclusion schools & increase alternative provision for the young people who need it.
It was impressive to see how the business has grown over the years and to meet staff who clearly take pride in their work. Clarkes is a wonderful example of a long-standing, locally rooted business supporting both the local economy and village life.
for people to come together. It was also great to visit the primary school and talk to the children about the woods, and about my work as an MP.
I also had the chance to tour Clarkes of Walsham, an independent family-run business that has been part of the village since 1908.
Recently I visited βWild Woodsβ group in Walsham le Willows. Like many of the local primary school students, I even got to plant my own black poplar tree - and earned my tree certificate! The woodland is a fantastic example of community-led nature recovery and a wonderful space
Bungay and market towns like it deserve proper access to banking.
I have raised this in Parliament after residents were told they cannot have a hub because one exists seven miles away in Harleston. In rural areas, distance does not equal access when public transport is limited.
It was good to visit Wattisfield Village Hall recently. In a village with limited facilities, spaces like this are especially important.
The Hot Frog Bar provides a warm space for the community to gather and socialise. The hall is continuing to develop, with plans for a new kitchen soon.
Great to be at the Blue Boar in Walsham le Willows after the Govt u turn on business rates. Pubs like this are vital to village life, and it was good to speak with residents about the issues that matter to them.
Huge congratulations Hannah! An incredible win and a victory for hope over division.
Looking forward to working with Hannah in Parliament.
And a huge thank you to the thousands of people who made this happen!
Itβs clear the changes have made the hall both more functional and an enjoyable space to be in. The transformation is a real credit to everyone involved. Well done to the village hall committee, and thanks to Green Councillors Andy Mellen and Richard Winch for supporting them.
Itβs clear how much work and care has gone into the improvements, from new external cladding and LED solar lighting to the upgraded kitchen and improved outdoor space. Community spaces like these are vital for keeping village life active and connected.
It was great to visit Badwell Ash Village recently with Green Councillors Andy Mellen and Richard Winch. A highlight was seeing the remarkable transformation of the Village Hall, led by resident and Chair of Trustees, Clive Hawkins.

Adrian Ramsay MP knocking on a door on 25 February 2026: campaigning for the Green Party of England & Wales in the Gorton & Denton by-election.
Great visit to Gorton and Denton to support Hannah Spencer.
It's so important that hope triumphs over division in this election.
Both the independent polls say it will be close between Greens and Reform.
Still time to sign up to help on polling day tomorrow: gorton-denton.greenparty.org.uk
I was glad to meet Christian Aid and Christian Climate Action campaigners outside Parliament opposing the Rosebank oil field.
Drilling for new oil fields makes no sense in a time of climate breakdown. All MPs have a responsibility to take the action needed for a safer future.
We need experts to give evidence, we need to see how the ban is working & not working in Australia, and we need to scrutinise the issues, evidence and range of options properly. For that reason, I abstained on tonight's vote.
Limiting social media for under-16s is a significant decision. I am clear that far more action is needed to keep young people safe, but I felt the LibDem motion tonight - while well intentioned - was not the right approach.
The Daily Mirror reports that of nearly 1 million urgent dental appointments commissioned by ICBs since April, 900,000 have not taken place.
I asked the Minister when he expects to reach the Govt's target on urgent dentistry appointments.
I have written to the Chair of the Nursing and Midwifery Council to raise concerns about the proposed 19% fee increase. At a time of cost-of-living pressures and NHS staffing shortages, this risks harming recruitment, retention and morale. Nurses and midwives deserve better.
The Environment Agency is under-resourced but vital for keeping our environment clean.
Reform wants to cut funding for these crucial organisations, risking more pollution and fly-tipping. We need proper funding, not more cutbacks.
It was great to joinΒ theΒ Dogs Trust Β drop-inΒ event recently to hear about how we can protect animals by requiring allΒ rehomingΒ organisations, includingΒ animalΒ rescues and sanctuaries, to be subject to licensing and registration. πΎ
As your local MP for Waveney Valley, I am out across the constituency each week, meeting residents face to face as I promised. I took the 81 bus from Diss to Harleston to speak with passengers and talk to Peter from Simonds/Transport Made Simple about improving local bus services
Together we can silence tinnitus.
1 in 7 people live with this invisible condition, and for many, it is life-changing. Hearing damage is preventable, yet too many music fans and workers remain unprotected. I support calls for better prevention, testing and safer sound levels.
Lots of enthusiasm to elect more Greens at the forthcoming County Council elections.
It was great to get together with Green Party members in Waveney Valley last night. A really positive discussion about my work in Parliament and in the constituency, and the many inspiring achievements of Green-led Mid Suffolk District Council.
I really welcome the National Cancer Plan, especially the Govt's intention to focus on early diagnosis and to end the scandalous postcode lottery for treatment.
But the National Cancer Plan needs to be properly funded to deliver on its ambition.
I joined MPs from across parties in writing to the Pensions Minister, urging the Government to reconsider its decision on compensation for women born in the 1950s. The Ombudsman found clear injustice. An apology is not enough. Those affected deserve fair redress.
31 years ago, the Chinook helicopter crash, a preventable tragedy, took lives, and families still do not have answers. The duty of candour is vital to ensure accountability and clarity.
Today is about love.
But for some, itβs one of the hardest days, especially for those whose loved ones should still be here.
