Considering the Greens haven’t done any campaigning at all in the campaign and their incumbent was a very well known local and the Lib Dems stood down for them last time round I’d say it makes total sense!

Great to catch up with β€˜the boss’ today.

Ed’s always been a real champion for local councils, and it was good to reaffirm just how vital it is that our parliamentarians keep banging the drum for the sector when it feels like there is crisis all around.

Congratulations to @paulcotswolds.bsky.social on being selected parliamentary candidate for the North Cotswolds!

Anyone that knows Paul knows that he’s a tireless campaigner and has a record of getting things done. He’s also the person who got me involved in politics (don’t hold that against him!).

Too often, utility companies dig up our roads and fail to restore them properly even though the law requires it.

We’re putting a stop to this. Companies that don’t play by the rules will face fines.

Our roads belong to everyone, and we’re making sure they’re treated with respect.

My village’s Facebook group.

Yes, crime is down by any meaningful measure, but shoplifting being essentially legalised is bad and needs to be addressed because it erodes the very foundation of our society: you get what you pay for.
