I hate to admit it but I am giving up on Silksong. It's a beautiful game, and I understand when devs choose to make difficulty a part of their artistic vision, but not at the expense of players who just want to get through a story without surprising their threshold for pain and frustration.
Completely agree. I'm gutted, but I have pretty consistent hand pain now as I near 40, and I just can't play this anymore. It's heartbreaking, I loved the first one, but similarly wasn't able to finish it. Got so close, but it just beat me.
The game loses nothing at all with an easy mode.
