Chicago!!! Wind advisory remains in effect. We've had several recorded gusts of 50-60 mph behind the cold front, including 58 mph at both Midway & Aurora Airports. While it will remain windy all night, occasional wind gusts over 50 mph are only expected for another hour or 2.

Chicago police have released these surveillance images of the gunman in last week's fatal shooting near Clark and Fullerton in Lincoln Park. They need help tracking him down.

Alderman Daniel La Sparta said, “Chicagoans deserve safe, plowed sidewalks this winter. Cops have two markers outside the building in the buildings parking lot, assuming they are shell casings, but unsure right now. Officers are mostly going inside of the home, where according to CPD the boy was found dead inside the residence.

Chicago police are on scene for a 15-year-old boy shot and killed in the 6900 block of South Parnell Avenue. On scene are two very upset and distraught women.

City rarely enforces environmental regulations for contractors, report finds A new report found the department responsible for government contracts doesn’t monitor whether companies violate environmental regulations.

Chicago has failed to enforce environmental regulations on contractors, such as asphalt companies like Gallagher Asphalt and MAT Asphalt. Despite numerous violations including excessive emissions and dust, the city has not adequately monitored these companies.
