Great work by NYT showing Trump's war is the most unpopular ever. Supports my argument (see below) that in some ways the public rejection of Trump across the board is a very heartening development:
I follow the news around local data center resistance fairly closely. This one stands out.
I am always glad to see Black women being centered in our own stories about the workforce and the workplace.
One thing I want to note is that across multiple sectors, the net employment loss Black women have experienced is closer to 216,000 from 2024-2025 according to @epi.org.
They don’t consider decolonization movements to have been genuine but instead some sort of treacherous plot as such they have no consideration of how these nations they want to bully will actually respond to imperial aggression.
The NBA:
Congress abolished itself and the people effectively have no representation while the guy in the White House lurches from one terrible impulse to another.
They about to strip the copper out the walls of this place lol

"O’Neill Burke has maintained that her office is limited in its ability to prosecute and secure convictions against on-duty federal agents. Still, she released guidance last month showing how she could pursue charges if a case were brought to her office."
"[Cook County State's Attorney] O’Neill Burke rebuked the call for a special prosecutor...
'Yet there has been no federal or state investigation or prosecution of any [of] the individuals who perpetrated these offenses,” the firm said."
State & local officials continue to be fine w/ roughing up & arrest of protesters outside Broadview & Eileen O’Neill Burke’s office is prosecuting dozens of nonviolent people arrested there. Also she so far won’t do anything real about rampaging ICE agents? 🤡 👎🏻 blockclubchicago.org/2026/02/26/w...
I saw someone here warn against anthropomorphizing Trump, and it's the best description I've seen of the way the media covers him.
Chile why did I decide to poke around on my bank's website and see they have a 96 month car loan option???
Why are we talking about car loans like we talk about newborns?? That loan is a 3rd grader bro please be serious
"Helping hedge funds bet against corporate loans can be a sensitive business given that other parts of the bank compete to underwrite these types of loans for some of their most important clients: private equity groups."

because they only know chuck berry, little Richard, and the other black inventors of rock that he took from right? :)
Pop cultural references in class start off as a way of making the material more understandable and the instructor more relatable, and incredibly quickly turn into a way of emphasizing how old and out of touch the instructor is.
Just walked by a colleague's classroom after my class finished and he was talking about Elvis, getting blank stares and so he had to ask "Does anyone know who Elvis Presley is?"
It's rough out here on these teaching streets.
Unfortunate that so much US political media is committed to ignorance, credulity, and obsequiousness, because the response to Trump saying Iran has tomahawks should’ve been incessant questioning like “how did you let that happen?,” “did you authorize sales?,” and “who are you holding accountable?”
You missed the Raytheon yard sale, last spring. Crazy deals on TLAMS, Spy-6 hardware and old DVDs.
Picked up a copy of Turner & Hooch and a TOW system for $20.
“Iran has some Tomahawks.”
Gonna need a factcheck on that one.
Must have missed the FMS announcement for sale of TLAMs to Iran.
No
And you could say soup is a sandwich
But it ain't
Trump did not announce a U.S. policy then walk it back. That is not what happened, and media presenting it that way does a disservice.
Trump said words he thought might appeal to his audience in the moment, with no connection to actual policy, then did that again with a different question/asker.
It takes a Roy Moore to get a Doug Jones.
Titans spending CRAZY money just to still look like plane wreckage.
honestly i respect it.... real shoppers swipe the card!
It is kinda funny that “taking over” Hormuz has become the get out of jail free card, the strait is merely the shortest part of the gulf, there is still hundreds of miles of coastline that Iran can lob drones and missiles from
No Kik 🤭🤣
"Don't be paranoid, that type of stuff only happens in the movies!" they insisted about things that were, are, and continue to be happening in the very real world every single day.
