Local leaders came together to tackle everything from the rising cost of energy, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and fostering clean energy. ⚡️🏠🌳
Thank you Mayor for urging Senators to support common sense, clean energy solutions that protect American families, strengthen communities and reduce reliance on fossil fuels.
She is taking bold action by partnering with the city’s local utility to deliver heat and cool thousands of homes and businesses. And she is partnering with local manufacturers and environmental leaders of color to install energy efficient heat pumps, creating jobs and helping families save energy.
Her message was clear: Mount Vernon residents deserve predictable and affordable energy. She spoke about people in her city who are having to make difficult decisions between staying warm, putting food on the table, or maintaining their homes.
