(m)ORPH dev update: Completed the port from OVR->OpenXR. Had serious performance issues to grapple with, but those are now under control. Added 3 more songs & have refined the main menu. The biggest new feature is the ability to global freeze all "Orph" floating audio-objects or solo freeze 1 by 1.
AUDION EP by Symbion Project out today on bandcamp! 5 songs from my #VR game, and as I add new song-levels to the game I'll add the songs to this soundtrack.

I created a mixed reality (m)ORPH demo for the 2025 Meta Horizon Developers competition and it won 3rd place (honorable mention) in the Entertainment category! 🎉 I'm hoping to next turn it into a real app that I can release in 2026.

AUDION #VR: Reactor powerup #2 to beat levels is the GravityWell which pulls all IONs together to then activate a second Reactor for maximum effect. Learning how to chain Reactors like this is essential for beating the harder levels. Free Quest 2/3/3s demo:

OMG quite unexpected, we won a Boston Music Award last night! We won the Dance/Electronic category (among some outstanding nominees), and it's nice to get the recognition in a year that we have been pretty actively putting out new music and playing some shows! I spent a few weeks creating some mini #audiogame demos in #mixedreality with #spatialaudio. I wanted to create simple game ideas that had visuals, but you have to use your listening skills to complete the levels. "Mosquito Hunt" was the simplest, but easily the most fun!

Box for the Neumi Atom 4k player, a very compact device that reads media files from micro SD card slot and USB port and can bitstream surround-sound audio to an A/V receiver.

I got myself a Neumi Atom 4k Ultra-HD player for Christmas (~$50) so I can properly enjoy music in Dolby TrueHD Atmos (and practically every other surround format) on my home theater system.

Taking down music off of a single streaming service is unfortunately quite difficult. CDBaby makes it super easy, but Distrokid you have to contact their support and do it manually... quite frustrating!
f*ck #spotify --> I'm in the process of removing all music from that platform. Already down are albums from Rocococo, Black House Triangle, The Planets, and many Symbion Project albums. Please support #bandcamp or more equitable and moral streaming options.
