At about 11 pm we went out to look at the stars. It was fantastic, first time ever with no light pollution π
No tv, no internet. No electricity, no water (needs an electric pump), no mobile service, no nothing! It was quite strange being completely cut off!
Weβve just survived an βeverythingβ outage! π±
Add a little oil to the hot pasta, let it cool a little, and squirt on some mayo!

Nintober #153. Jashin With the arrival of the morning sun comes the love giant, Doshin. Beloved by the Barudo islanders, he grows in size and strength the more his people love him. But love is hard work. Sometimes a gargantuan sun god wants to get big fast! For that, he becomes the hate giant, Jashin. Destructive and evil, burning and crushing, he feeds on fear and hate. But are the islanders even aware Doshin and Jashin are the same giant? N64 Kyojin no Doshin 1 (1999) Gamecube Doshin the Giant (2002)
Welcome to Nintober! Every year (mostly), I draw a bunch of monsters from Nintendo games. I'm up to 153 of them!
The first entry for 2023 is Jashin the hate giant from the N64/GC game Doshin the Giant.
