TIL that we had a wasps nest on the back deck and they really did NOT appreciate me changing the gas bottle on the BBQ. If you've ever wondered what it's like to get multiple wasp stings on the top of your head, I do not recommend. Not a good time.

Looks like a great venue. And honestly the regional gamedev events are SO important right now. MIGW (and anything overseas) is so inaccessible and unaffordable for so many people. We have knowledge and experience all over the country and we need to leverage it.

And no, I didn't live in London. I didn't even live in a city.

Back in the UK on my ~15 minute walk to work I'd pass 20 pubs, a bunch of grocery/convenience stores, bars, restaurants, barbers etc. Felt very different when I moved to Aus, some things are in walking distance but not everything. But the US is so car-bound.
