A 30-story luxury apartment tower first proposed three years ago is expected to move forward.

BSD intends to continue operating the Loop Trolley through 2028 if approved by the board. Plans are in place for the Loop Trolley to operate 32 hours/week from April through October. Actual 2024 revenues as of Dec. 10 were $871,218 on expenses of $1.08M.

The Committee also recommends entering into a five-year ($56M) contract with Allied Universal Security Services for public safety and security services. Funding will be provided through the operating budget.

The Operations Committee recommended to the Bi-State Dev board for approval a contract not to exceed $1.04M to Central States Thermo King for the purchase and installation of @stlmetro.bsky.social bus air purification systems. The project is to be funded by federal/local matching funds.
