Why does Iran cost $1B a day? Because we throw 50 times as much money at the military as they could ever even BEGIN to need, and they’ve learned there is no reason to be efficient.

I just had the awful feeling since Saturday that our military was the one that bombed that Iranian school & killed all those young girls! And now that it’s been confirmed, I’m more passionate than ever that Trump needs to be brought up on war crimes as soon as we can impeach & remove him!

Republicans won’t even act when a school full of AMERICAN children is killed. They sure as hell don’t care about this.

If the government dropped a bomb that took my kid from me, I wouldn’t be thinking about politics or strategy. I’d be thinking about who did it, and how far I’d have to go to make them feel what I felt. People act surprised when the world gets more dangerous, but this is exactly how it happens.

For those who have forgotten the past 40 years:

Tax cuts for the rich
...don’t trickle down

Boosting military spending
...doesn’t bring peace

Slashing regulations
...doesn’t create jobs

Folks, we’ve seen this all before.

At least $7.2 million in taxpayer funds has been spent on LEGOs through Arizona's school voucher program, new public records obtained by 12News show 12News uncovered the spending -- including one family spending $30,000 on LEGOs -- after suing Superintendent Horne and Treasurer Yee to obtain ESA public records.

Since 2022, AZ taxpayers funded $7.25M in Legos that individual families kept for themselves.

Every AZ K12 teacher could have spent ~$125 on purchases *for their whole class, present & future* w those "take my toys & go home" Lego sets.

[And yes, my code for this analysis was straight bananas.]

Marco Rubio on why we needed to bomb Iran: “listen, let me explain to you guys this in simple English, okay? Iran is run by lunatics, religious fanatic lunatics.”

Okay Marco. And what do we do if another country, say, I dunno, the United States, for example, were run by religious fanatic lunatics?

Their guy said he'd pardon the J6 insurrectionists--and then shockingly did it.

I haven't heard any potential Democratic candidate promise to pardon everybody arrested for protesting ICE.

That'd go a long way toward showing me they're opposition and not just controlled.

If the Senate can't act even now, then this is definitely an institutional issue. i.e. The Senate as configured is useless.

The killing of Iranian children during an illegal war is an impeachable offense (not to mention a grave crime) and Congress should really act like it.

15 Republicans in the Senate could end this nightmare before it somehow gets even worse.

Once again, the press should be ashamed for chasing this nonsense and even giving it coverage. Trump says something outrageous and they treat it like credible news instead of calling it what it is: bullshit. They never learn.

After everything they put Joe Biden through,

Someday he'll fire RFK Jr. too, because he's a savvy politician, and RFK Jr. is viscerally disgusting to the human sensibility. When he does - and he will - public health will have to grapple with the fact that it was doable, and we could have tried harder, sooner

I keep thinking about voter intimidation. People may not want to go to a dropbox or fear they need a passport, so they won't vote at all. I feel like we need to start training for ballot collection or make Know Your Rights cards, election style.

And don't come at me w/ "midterms aren't happening".
