I love Foma 200 with man-made subjects of concrete and metal

Oh wow so it is possible! Did the can have any signs of oxidation? I've had great luck with cans so far, even from the 60's!

Properly kept canned chemicals will last at least half a lifetime. Enjoy the development! Never used Diafine before.

Yeaaaahh I'm afraid that with the price of FP4 now (which is in accordance with the quality of what you get) it's not going in anything that's more than 10% plastic by weight. I'll be keeping Foma 200 (an underrated film but much cheaper) for the shitty cameras.

Oxygen is literally burning us (very slowly), but fortunately, the very concept of life is that it's an ever-ongoing antagonist to entropy.

Are you suggesting we need more than one metric, @onemetricdylan? 😬
Sorry, easy jokes aside, grades have rarely meant much in terms of both soft skills, and practical abilities. They mostly measure short to medium term retention capacity and core concepts comprehension...

So like do I have to concentrate real hard for my PGC-1-alphas to unblock or uuh talk to all my mitochondria individually and remind them to breathe? #notInBiology #justACouchPotatoChemist

My ultimate combo personally is the 55/1.8 and the 100/2.8 but I'd love to try Pentax's take on an 85mm too. The 135/3.5 I have is a solid option too!

Both the KM and LX are great cameras for different reasons. Regardless, which lenses were you using for these shots, if you remember? Great work either way :)

Love the first photo with the benches!
And yes I'm also finding that Rodinal works great with Astrum, even Foto 400 has high detail, low-ish grain. They're extraordinary emulsions; unique amount of detail and good contrast

Yes! Many years later I have a new appreciation for these movies as I'm learning about film chemistry/technology and shooting stills on film that I develop at home. And indeed the light but also the angles that directors choose now that VFX are digital make movies look different nowadays...

I think there are small-pore-size (20-40nm) size exclusion chromatography columns out there, and I've seen folks use GPC and SEC interchangeably, so maybe it's correct!

Meanwhile, somehow, Paul /W. S./ Anderson's movies' plots (Resident Evil) also seem to be looming on the horizon
