Tried to book for England A at Beckenham - match not even listed on the ground's website. Woeful. Where's the joined-up thinking?!
Researching and writing this book gave me the greatest year – although it’s not about whether I think it turned out well.
For sure, it’s not your run-of-the-mill sports #romcom, but it’s shot through with love – both mine and the characters’. Hopefully that’s enough.
