No War with Iran. There is always endless funding for wars and corporations, but never for the American people.
It is immoral to profit off of war, and should be illegal.

Michigan’s climate legislation was meant to move us toward clean energy over time. However, the legislation has loopholes that will likely be exploited due to hyperscale data centers high energy usage.

$18 Billion in local tax breaks.

With the State portion alone we could buy the Detroit Lions.
We don't have enough money for clean water, fully funded schools, or drivable roads.
Yet Michigan’s economic development office offered more than $6 BILLION in corporate handouts to ONE single company, and yet Sandisk still didn't come.
Duggan does not have our interests at heart. Just look to his donors.

Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer and the MEDC offered over $6 BILLION to a single corporation.

This bill could have massive implications on what we in the Michigan House need to do in order to fill the funding gaps created by these Trump-backed tax cuts. If this legislation passes, it would also serve as one of the biggest handouts to the wealthy in US History. (2/2)
Today, Trump’s bill passed the Senate. If it passes in the House it would cut $930B from Medicaid over the next decade. This bill also makes major cuts to SNAP (food stamp) benefits. We are in the middle of budget season in Lansing. (1/2)
