This is literally the most gorgeous trophy I’ve ever worked on - and I worked on the remake/lightweight copy of the OG / Tiffany’s Cup.

We made the new LoL Summoner's Cup for Worlds 2025 (and beyond!)
I've known Jordan since I got started in propmaming back in 2009. The fires took a lot from so many in LA, and if you have anything to spare, he could really use your help. Thank you!

Teamfight Tactics wrestling belt, but make it Arcane! One of the more unique mixed media pieces we've created - leather, rhodium, rhinestones, and rubber!
I remember your painting progress for this, it’s saved in my “how-to” stuff.
But whenever I see an older but still gorgeous piece I always wonder, “would you still follow the same steps to get this finish today?”
What’s this actually entail?
Did they ask “what’s in your pockets?” Or… what?
They used THE THEME
…and now I’m bawling my eyes out before breakfast.
Update: NOT MINE!
They are, in fact, the genuine hero props from the archives.
I know because these are the exact 2 props I spent many, MANY hours painting spoons to color-match circa 2022
Ok so it turns out I’m actually “really good” at cleaning out my phone and I have very few old build photos on it.
I can barely post content to my socials as-is, so I’m officially giving up on “30 ish days of photos” at… whatever number it was last week.
So here’s what’s currently in my booth:
BSG is practically a radio drama, perfect for this (it’s how I “watched”); Star Trek, especially TOS; I just binged 3 Body Problem and Agatha All Along this way but I do think I lost out a little bit
So I found out today that there’s a couple of Loki props decorating the Avengers store in Downtown Disney, Anaheim.
They MIGHT be mine.
I mean that literally - I DO NOT KNOW
So if you’re down there, grab me some photos so I can try and tell?
(I was sent this photo over on insta)
This was a fun costume!
Too bad either nobody got it or nobody cared.
(All the arrows had different bottles of booze for tips, except a handful that had shot glasses instead; DragonCon!)
A doctor’s letter to United Healthcare for denying nausea meds for a child on chemo
With zero context this single page brought me to absolute tears.
The overwrought, ridiculous costumes - the ones that are SO DUMB but you pour real blood and sweat into because of course they are - are my favorite.
Somehow I completely missed this!

Yesterday’s post reminded me of the photoshoot we did w the NigelBot; it wasn’t entirely planned but he ended up being quite posable, so I had to set him up like one of your French girls.
Random prop photo 15
Always loved these detail photos of what I dubbed the NigelBot: a life size, 6’ terminator style skeleton I got to design almost entirely from scratch, mostly out of found parts. Never used by the client.
I was a big fan of the bright blue cable “veins” I added last minute.
It worked out!
Big same.
Even my “discover” feed is… not that.
I thought he looked a little under the weather
I mean, the results ARE pretty nice
Random prop photo e’ry day, Day 14:
When I was a naive madman who thought sculpting 2 sets of double sided, perfectly mirrored, wings for Hawkman’s helmet BY HAND was a good idea.
Did the base in Sintra, details in Apoxie Sculpt, feather cores stripped from actual feathers.
This took MONTHS.
Random prop photo, day 13
Assembling Ant-Man
I’ve been making these helmets since ~2012, and this part is always a bit fiddly because there’s often inconsistency in the chrome plating of the mandibles where they hit the helmet itself.
This stand has been clutch: it’s a bowling ball holder!
Okay, about this echo chamber thing.
Who cares?
When I come here, I don't see a ton of obnoxious trolls spouting transphobia, homophobia, ableism, racism, misogyny and the rest of that shit thinking.
If that's an echo chamber, sign me up and save me a deck chair.
Random prop photo Day 12:
First attempt at a fully flexible Winter Soldier Arm. Mold wasn’t made for this, it doesn’t fit me, and it was truly more a materials test than anything. But I learned a lot!
Random prop photo Day 11
Happy Thanksgiving!
Grateful I never have to do this again (please god, never again 😅)
Random prop photo ever day, Day 10
“Materializing” version of Star-Lord’s helmet.
Slush cast in blue tinted SC325, then I cut / carved all the “pixels” freehand w my dremel.
Lit the sides w some LEDS programmed by a friend and voila! Pretty neat effect that also wasn’t half as sweaty as normal!
