One of my absolute favorite films! And I get being suspicious of von Trier- the dude is super sketch but he also occasionally directs absolute masterpieces.

The Color Purple- I know it’s widely acclaimed but to anyone who read the book, it’s an embarrassment. He was 100% the wrong director to make that film. All of the sharp jags of the book are sanded down into Spielbergian sentimental BS.
I wish the Anna Faris rom-com reign had lasted a little longer.

The Blob, similar to Halloween 3, has gone from highly underrated to now a bit overrated. A fun film with great effects but nowhere in the ballpark of The Thing (or The Fly).
As great as Ghost Dog is, I’d love to see a version to match this poster! 😂❤️
