I enjoy this joke because they're so committed to *not* being accused of this that they put in a bunch of goofy MS Paint placeholders.

Mega Crit BUSTED for using creative AI in Slay the Spire 2!!!
Slay the Spire 2 co-op is an interesting approach that kind of requires you to be on voice chat, if not in the same room. Within a turn everything is real time, so you've gotta get everybody to cool their jets until you can designate targets and plan out your order of operations as a team.
First Slay the Spire 2 run, as Ironclad: blew through it, easy peasy.
Second StS2 run, as Silent: bitchslapped by the first elite.
So ~that's~ how it's gonna be, eh?
Happy Slay the Spire 2 Early Access Day* to all who celebrate.

Okay this is bonkers. I guess they built a practical set here which is an admirable goal, but having the visible splits between your 55" panels looks like absolute garbage and does not sell the 1,000 years in the future idea. Just green screen that.
Yup. There's a very distracting disparity between the supermodel types and... those who are not.
God it infuriates me that every third person, supposedly in Starfleet, is wearing a completely different "uniform."
That's not what that word means, dummies!
Oh FFS this episode of Starfleet Academy is just The Phantom Menace/Clone Wars. We go to the backwater planet to find your mom and have to find parts for our ship.
Great call there, guys. Because everybody loved those movies!
The misinterpretation happened for a reason: it wasn't critics adapting it to video, it was the (well-meaning) social team.
It's 100% more important to drum up interest well before a review - the review is just icing on the cake.
And if I knew how to do that reliably, I would be incredibly rich.
For what it's worth, that video was a misinterpretation of an editorial that said the exact opposite of that. www.ign.com/articles/ano...
I will say that IMO, in the past decade reviews haven't been big drivers of awareness. They answer a question, but if no one's asking it, no one cares.
Both were in the military in WW2 - my mom's dad an engineer in the Navy and my dad's in logistics in the Army. Later they were in accounting and a telephone engineer for Bell Labs, respectively.
I think the best candidate won in Texas yesterday but I'm sad to lose Crockett in the House and I'd love to see her get back into government somewhere because she is excellent. Hopefully the next Democratic administration offers her whatever job she wants.
It is exhausting.
They go into the Unknown Senders tab, so I don't get a notification when they arrive.
Culty vibe makes it seem like a mind control thing (which would also let them do a Hal vs John episode). That would narrow it down to a few GL villains.
I'm not sure what I was expecting from a live-action Green Lantern show but it wasn't this! That said, I'm intrigued by the trailer. Seems like they're holding back the supervillain part – it's probably not two Lanterns vs a bunch of regular criminals.
Texas Senate primary hasn't even officially counted all the votes and I already got my first fundraising text. It's gonna be a loooong 8 months.
Thankfully iOS has gotten pretty good at filtering those out. I just wish it didn't take so many clicks to clear them entirely.
I doubt they’re worried about that. Not a lot of folks are expecting those to do huge numbers. Could be, though, that if they’re really going to launch a new handheld, they don’t want to compete with the Steam Deck.
I would not be shocked if this decision had at least something to do with pettiness/pride, and someone not wanting people to buy an Xbox - specifically the upcoming hybrid that will supposedly play Windows games - in order to play PlayStation games.
Seems a little silly to me, someone who prefers to play on PC but will probably get a game I’m interested in PlayStation long before the PC port comes along (definitely will with Wolverine). These ports let Sony have its cake and eat it too, selling to people who weren’t moved to buy a console.
My god the Nintendo profile system is garbage. I just want my wife and kids to be able to play the Switch 2 version of Zelda on their own accounts on the one Switch 2 I own, but it will only let them play the Switch 1 version and keeps telling me to transfer the game card to them, which it can’t do.
My wife came home from a conference in Austin yesterday afternoon. Yeesh.
Also, Stephen Miller couldn't have designed it much better in his crusade to denaturalize citizens. This will be all over ICE recruitment within hours.
I have never heard anybody - anybody - I have worked with in games criticism suggest anything of the sort. We all work with people who don’t have degrees and they’re awesome.
I believe it’s the culture in academia, but this is not academia.
I was legit gonna guess Red Faction
Okay I guess.
Congratulations on backing up literally none of your claims. I hope you feel good about lying about people who just wanted to give you advice about video games.
You have misinformed conspiracy theories.
I was involved with the industry so I know what I’m talking about. You do not.
I never paid for Twitter.
Trotting out “too much water” is telling on yourself for not having read the review.
Yes, this includes the social guy who posted that.
The person I replied to was definitely not using it as a meme. It is a *very* commonly held view among people who have not thought about it very much that a 10/10 means perfection. That post was most certainly not the origin - it predates social media by a lot.
