and read your notes out loud to your close one ( I highly recommend reading together). Most of us don't do it, and we don't fully absorb what we read.
Switch from reading to active reading and change your life.
Don't just read. Read with a timer. Read with a goal. Write (or type) down the sentences, phrases, or words that moved you. Write down the summary, the takeaways. Write down what you feel about the author. Take it further...
Have you ever written just to drain your mind? To scrape it clean, to let it all tumble out without trying?

If I'm thinking about present moment, I'm only convincing myself I'm here.
The present isn't something you think about.
The moment you try to mindful, it slips away. It's like trying to catch smoke.
Mindfulness is something you gradually sink into.
Not trying. Just being.
You can love your employees, your community, the environment and still make good money.
Ethical businesses can win too.
How quickly you return to presence every time thoughts pull you away is a measure of your progress in meditation.
Hinduism calls this Grace.
Buddhism calls it the momentum of Mindfulness practice.
Call it whatever you want, but the message is the same: Keep coming back.

Thanks for bringing the meaning back to the roots. The closest word for Mindfulness was satΔ«. It could be remembering or loving compassionate awareness depending on the context.
If youβre shelling out a fortune for a yoga + wine retreat, youβre drinking overpriced wine that's not worth it. Youβre missing on the real point of yoga.
And youβre definitely losing money.
