It is loaded with useless eye-candy (perhaps I should say "iCandy") and features that I immediately turned off and will never use.
I just "upgraded" one of my Macs to the new Tahoe operating system. My opinion is that it is "meh". On the positive, it probably has a better support of the M series processors. Other than that, I find the increased pressure to set up iCloud very annoying.
I had another mad spending spree this Black Friday. I purchased:
1) Small box of roofing nails
2) Lunch
3) Small plastic storage bins.
It was an exhilarating shopping experience. I would not have thought it possible, but I actually outdid last year when I put petrol in the car. I love Black Friday.
I am constantly annoyed at the conflation of Zionism with Judaism. One can be a Christian Zionist and one can be Jewish without supporting Zionism. Furthermore, being against Israeli excesses is not the same thing as being anti-Semitic.

I have had a number of these, but in the last few years, I have yet to find one that had a robust phosphorescent screen. But when I was a child, I remembering them as being much more robust.

WTF! I just recently "upgraded" to Windows 11. As I move the mouse around the screen, random panes encroach upon my screen with all kinds of random shit. It is usually so fleeting that I cannot even read it. In the times that I does stay long enough for me to read it, it seems totally irrelevant.

In my lifetime I have lived under three economic systems. I have lived under a Keynesian(USA 1953-1980), Soviet style hard socialist (India 1976-1980) and neoliberal (USA 198-peresent). The present neoliberal has the worst quality of life. Keynesian was the best.
