Absolutely. Sitting on a wooden chair for 3 hours is not a good vibe. We have one of those kids' play couches which is basically a stack of different shaped cushions and we just build a nest in the living room. Everyone gets a lil dice tray. Also a cute beverage. We are going to be comfortable.
Removing the table is where I REALLY agree with Vic. Sleepover style on the living room floor, blanket and hammock in the backyard, Lawn chairs around a campfire,1970s conversation pit. I'm all about getting cozy and taking the TT out of the RPG.
Obviously there’s exceptions, but unless I’ve worked with you before I have big minimums. That “quick and easy” little project never is.
It’s absolutely NOT the inverse. Low budget clients has the mindset that they want their moneys worth and are more likely to over-art direct, push the scope with many revisions and multiple versions. Big budget clients pay more for a trusted expert who will take problems off their plate.
One thing I’ve learned doing art and design for hire all these years, is that clients with low budgets treat you like the help, while clients with big budgets treat you like the talent.

I think the key word here is "good" networking. Working with like-minded colleagues on a coordinated effort makes sense, but I always have an inbox full of requests from unknown to me creators asking for cross posts with products that have little to do with what I'm doing.

Like, that's so much! I might just get a bunch of blank stickers and crayola markers for kids to "design their own sticker" and call it a day.
My struggle right now is that it needs to be really quick. Their suggestions if you're a dentist you could have fake teeth and brushes to practice brushing. And for me they were like, you could print out and laminate different pictures for kids to swap and move around and design their own cover art.
Help! I agreed to do career fair at my kids school and now they want me to do an interactive activity and all their suggestions are insanely elaborate and time consuming.
I gotta start a blog first! It was only a matter of time I suppose!
