You know what? I deserve tuna melts for lunch.
Maybe you do too. Go on, treat yourself.
I mean, Atomic Blonde is the best Bond movie, and I will brook no arguments about it. It's just truth.
Overnight stays in hospital are a trial at the best of times. And it's never the best of times.
Wait, is it possible that the small nation started who have a big nation that they consider an existential threat have been paying attention to events in Ukraine?
Huh, who'd have thought ...
He objected to an offshore wind farm being built near his golf course, but failed to prevent it being built. And we know how well he takes losing
And the last thing you want to do if you're lying about a physical device, is turn it over to somebody else to verify your claims ...
There's a lot of distance between being mildly sceptical about their claims being overblown and claiming it's all just flat out lies.
Admittedly, there are a lot of people making flat out lies to get investor money (I've worked for one), but at the moment they're mostly looking at AI.
High praise. Which institute?
Sorry, I'd not considered that I was spreading the disappointment until too late.
I have just remembered that George Galloway exists and I can tell you, it has not improved my day any.
Something has clearly gone on in next door's garden, because our fence is lined with pigeons staring intently into it ...
I think we should stop talking about them as rules and go back to calling them hints.
A statement from Matt Goodwin. I'm not sure, but it seems like "wah wah wah, the evil muslims are evil. Only I can save you, wah wah wah". You can taste the salty tears through the screen.
Had you not seen this?
Ego the size of a planet?
As I said to the wife this morning, it's nice to elect somebody with some left wing policies.
"But it's not a party like a European political party"
Sure, babe. And that renders them incapable of talking to each other and coming to an agreement about what to do. There's definitely never been any collective planning or action in the history of US politics.
What a prick. I assume he's some kind of local businessman, that sort of thing might interest a local news outlet, if one still exists.
Would be a crying shame if it had consequences ...
We couldn't find work placements for either of the boys' BTECs. Thankfully they were able to use volunteer work to cover the requirement - which is far lower at only a couple of weeks.
It's all a bit odd. I'm sorry some fuckwit has made it worse for you all.
And they get to work with you!
I feel like something has to have been exaggerated in their claims, but how much would they have to have exaggerated for this not to be a game changer? It would need to be orders of magnitude, surely.
The Maelstrom team certainly knew that some of our design forces were limiting how much it could grow. Particularly if you looked at the number of people who'd enjoyed the game then left.
It's worth bearing in mind that a lot of us were at the LT when was huge, so we knew there was a market

Just like all the other times, right?
It's not as if they've been telling the board this makes everything faster and cheaper. Right?
Ask me about it next time we're drunk in a tent together. It can be surprisingly useful, but ...
TLDR; it can make you feel like you're going faster when you aren't. It encourages a type of laziness _I'm_ definitely vulnerable to. But there are upsides to using it _sometimes_
rec.games.frp.live-action
You're welcome.
I remember back in the ancient days on rec.games.frp.live-action, the A was a pretty good signifier as to whether the poster was North American or British.
I went looking for the FAQ, because I thought it addressed it, but couldn't find it. @wildpark.bsky.social may have a copy
A puddle of lickspittles
The C++ book is mysteriously missing from my shelf. Nobody knows why. It's a terrible shame, otherwise I might be tempted to write some.
(I am never going to be tempted to write some)
It's not for everyone. I didn't enjoy BB for other reasons (I haven't watched nearly enough of the correct genre of television), but Bump in the Dark works much better for me than Monster of the Week, for example.
