It’s back-to-school/work day for me today.
I got ill on Christmas day and spent most of the holiday recovering. Probably the best thing that could have happened tbh!
So, today I’m kicking things off with a big review of 2024. Looking forward to it.
I still don’t just *know* what six figures is. I have to do it on my fingers every time and work out whether I ought to be impressed or not.

Nice article but he ducks the hard questions. Yes, plastic can be used in a way that is not net-negative, but mostly it isn't. Same with AI, probably. And AI has the potential to be more insidiously harmful because it will cause ppl to lose the creative/problem solving muscles you develop w/o AI.
I'm interested - but the practical info on the website is out of date. Would be great to see updated details on the logistical side, since I'd need to know it was practically feasible for me before I commit :)
Ah yes, I see what you mean. I just set up a PKM column in deck.blue and muted the pokemon tag. Seems to work.
In my case, what has been squeezed out is "getting ready for Christmas".
e.g. buying presents, buying food.

My kids described me as a twitter bro for a while, that was cool.
It’s so easy for a client to say, “Could you just squeeze this in before Christmas”, and even easier for me to say, “Yes fine.”
But there are so many other things that have to be squeezed in before Christmas, especially when you’re a mum, that you forget to consider what gets squeezed out.

The "Wait" steps in Relay make this super easy to do (I think in Make it would need a separate automation).
I have it set up to collect stats in 1 hour / 1 day / 1 week after posting.

@relay.app has pulled the first tranche of post metrics back into Notion.
(I borrowed the emoji notation from Queue .so, the late lamented Notion-to-Twitter scheduler that was my inspiration for building this workflow.)
I downloaded it a couple of weeks ago after reading a tweet that said the 2 most dangerous obstacles to progress are ayahuasca and factorio.

The @Notion.com → Bluesky scheduler (built with @relay.app) is coming along nicely.
Today I added a wee Javascript to truncate the text input to one of the AI steps, to avoid burning unnecessary tokens.
(would not have even attempted this without Claude).

Generally yes, although I found myself getting tetchy with NotebookLM today because it wasn’t following instructions and was trying to make out it was MY fault???!! Currently we’re not speaking.
This is a great use case for AI - it is surprisingly good at vibe detection, and often that's what you need.
