Well, we were delighted to have you here in Cleveland. Sorry about the cold, but it made the show that much more meaningful! Go on with your empathetic self!
ha ha atlantic nice try
I am deeply ashamed on behalf of Fr. Hesburgh's university.
Those trying to understand the tariffs as economic policy are dangerously naive.
No, the tariffs are a tool to collapse our democracy. A means to compel loyalty from every business that will need to petition Trump for relief.
1/ A 𧡠to explain his plan and how we fight back.
STOP DOING TRUMP'S WORK FOR HIM. STOP CONCEDING HE CAN DO ILLEGAL SHIT VIA EO. STOP SAYING THE EQUIVALENT OF, "OH WELL, NO ONE WILL STOP HIM, WE MIGHT AS WELL GIVE UP."
STOP IT. DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION AND THE RULE OF LAW. ALWAYS.
Weβre receiving word that General Services Administration leadership are firing more people tonight. Our dedicated colleagues should be eating dinner with their families or putting their kids to bed, not having their lives upended. The public will suffer, too. We stand with all of you.
18F was doing exactly the type of work that DOGE claims to want β yet we were eliminated shortly after midnight. Read our letter to the American people:

We fought for over a decade to properly cap the Harvard Landfill and build a solar farm. This is just one of hundreds of thousands of projects that help everyone and harm nobody that are in jeopardy, and I'll be damned if I let this die. www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2025/...
You were brilliant and lovely. Thank you for allowing this Cityzen to tag along with you and my bride. See you next year at Bramley-Moore!
I hope that your commentary changes, for the sake of your listeners. But, alas, I won't be around to hear it. I wish you well. (end)
I listen to the Guardian Football Weekly instead. Yes, they are critical of what is happening to the PL, and City's part in this. But, that is not all they talk about. They are knowledgeable, and don't hold grudges. And, I'll happily give my money to them to be critical but still entertaining. (7/x)
If City goes down, they go down, and they will have deserved it. But, do I, as a supporter, deserve to listen to you treat my love of my team like garbage? Should I pay $400 for the privilege to listen to you denigrate my love? I've finally decided not to. (6x)
This is where I admit that I'm a Cityzen. I've followed City back when they were the plot point for "There's Only One Jimmy Grimble." I saw them fall, then rise, then fall again, then rise again. I just came back from Manchester, where I bought a vintage Claudio Reyna shirt for far too much. (5/x)
I get it. This is news, and people should be aware. But Good Christ, when that is the only thing that you apparently know about Manchester City, or Newcastle United, or any other club owned by a sovereign wealth fund, well, there is really no reason for me to listen. (4/x)
When you joined The Football Show, I was delighted. However, it only took a few months for that delight to sour, then turn to regret. TFS was the bright, optimistic counter to Grumpy Pundits. But, not for much longer. I can only take so much bitter commentary about FFP and APT and 115 charges (3/x)
I loved that car, and I loved listening to The Football Show. When you were on Grumpy Pundits, I truly enjoyed listening to you. I can't say that you brought a bright light to the GP, because that wasn't the point. It was to listen to grouchy experts who loved football, and I ate that up. (2/x)
Hi there, Tom. I wasn't going to put this here, but since SiriusXM won't let me tell them why I'm cancelling, I'm alas letting you know.
I've listened to The Football Show for 12 years when I bought my first new car. It was the first car that had anything newer than a cassette tape player. (1/x)
No class at all. Haaland is actually hurt.
To folks saying "Calling does nothing!" and then... not suggesting any actions instead, even small ones? Please, save us both some time, don't bother posting at me, and just block me now. I'll use the time to take action (not JUST call, fyi) & you can use it to... stare into the abyss of doom? π€·π»ββοΈ
Taylor Doose's only crime is loving Stars Hollow too much.
(well, that and his terrible toupee)
We installed an Instahot just to make tea, and yes, we're Americans.
This tracks for San Antonio in the late 80s.
Out Christmas shopping, and this seems like it's for someone pretentious that you don't like very much.
My apologies for being salty. It was hard to watch a well-fought match by Athletic Club (which you have honestly given praise to the last few seasons) and then the commentary on ESPN FC by Dan, Craig, and you be entirely about Mbappe. There's a good story being told by Los Leones that was missed!
Glad you liked it. Could you have said one word about Athletic Club in the commentary afterwards?
Four commentators, 30 minutes of talk, 0 words about Athletic Club. Be better.
This behavior is a trend at Yankee Stadium, and the club has no intention of abating it. So yes, MLB (yes, I realize they are toothless) need to get them to either put in a no-man's platform (like in right field of Progressive Field) or abandon and cordon off at least the front three rows of seats.
Loving whomever put JB right after Bernie.
