8) (this is mostly about the expansion) holy shit this was a goated RTS for me, if their was a way to count hours played not on steam it would be a heavy contender for one of my most played games, offline and online

7) foundational game to my lore, it got me to be social with people in a way nothing, game or otherwise, had been able to before it, and I would not and could not be the same person I am without friendships made playing Halo: Reach.

6) arguably some of the best and worst rpg writing of all time, but beneath it all breathes a world that oozes character all on its own, and while every ounce of vitriol it got at launch is deserved, I am glad it got the fixes it needed to be the beauty it it is now

4) Another staple game in my mind but also just as important as any other. The bioware game of all time, the star wars game of all time, the rpg of all time. Top down one of the classics and for good reason.

3) Admittedly I got into the Nier series after playing Automata but I will stand by my decision that Replicant is, as a narrative and game, my favorite of the serie, and whether that be it by personal attachment to the characters or just rose-tinted glasses, I love it to death.

1) Holy shit this game was probably the greatest accidental purchase of my little young life. A game that broke my mind off of call of duty and medal of honor and brought me into sincerely interacting with games as a medium for art. Would not be the same person without it.
