If there was any human that ever roamed our pale blue dot that I would have loved to sit down and have dinner with, it would have been Carl.
I can say with certainty that the main reason I wish I was born earlier than I was is the simple fact that I never got to be in the presence or even have a chat with Carl Sagan. His warm presence is just a blanket of hope and optimism.
Andor made me fall in love with Star Wars again after being soured through much of the Disney era. It IS that good.
It's funny. Certain tastes of mine shift around so sometimes my favorite video game can go from Dishonored to Doom Eternal to Alan Wake 2 all depending on my mood.
However my favorite movie hasn't changed even slightly since May 15th 2015. It's Mad Max: Fury Road and it will stay that way forever.

Yes it really is one of a kind. Control is like a precursor to how weird Remedy can really get. Alan Wake 2 is like they went to 6th gear and broke the shifter off.
Also Herald of Darkness is one of the catchiest songs ever written.
I've come to the conclusion that Alan Wake 2 is in my top 5 games at this point, if not my #1. It's just unlike anything else and a game that quite literally nobody but @remedygames.com and @samlakewrites.bsky.social could make. It made me start learning Finnish for fucks sake.
