I think we have already lived through the golden age of social media.
@drunkenmenno
Still irreverent and still irrelevant. Author of MennoNightcaps: Cocktails inspired by that odd ethno religious group you keep mistaking for the Amish, Quakers and Mormons. Mennonites, cocktails, and everything in between.
I think we have already lived through the golden age of social media.
C'mon. Let's not start making a hierarchy of wackiness.
Aaaw, no, I've kinda dropped off social media. Is there anything good happening on the blue sky?
No insult intended. Just a Mennonite joke
In the Mennonite tradition (verenicke, not pierogi), you do the Rays first and then the Yankees
Makes sense. No one wants to think their ancestry has people (or even just one) who'd bicker over buttons and bicycles
None of those books have cocktail recipes. Just sayin.
I always thought it was because the roads followed the river but I like this better.
I'm assuming they chose those letters in recognition of Anabaptism 500.
Ashamed at how long it took me to find "martyr" in today's NYT Spelling Bee.
Not a great hit in the box office
It was a very different sort of film: Robin Hood argues with the rich about economic justice instead of using violence to steal from them; his followers sing hymns in between arguments; and they keep schisming into merry sub-bands

Looking forward to meeting you irl.
They have promised to stock Mennonightcaps and I have promised a recipe for a 500 yr anniversary cocktail. No talk of them serving cocktails tho.
Also including at least one Mennonite mixologist πΈπΉ

Was cheating at games like Dutch Blitz
Dirkenstock: it's a sandal. It's an ice skate. It's a radical reformation of our most popular line.
From Mennonite Mission Network, the perfect footgear for a #GranolaMennonite
C'mon, @freundschaftphoto.bsky.social. Let it go. They apologized already.
Sorry - pov
To the person getting dressed every morning, buttons are a convenience. But convenience is also just another word for extravagance :)
Before buttons, people used pins to hold their clothes together. Even plain buttons were prettier.
But also - a lot more difficult for tailors and dressmakers. So, from the tailor's pow, buttons are an extravagance compared to pins
Ahhh - you beat me to it!
Is it platz day for us Russian Mennonites? #PiDay
Oops
"Mennonite-coded." I'm thinking the family was singing 606 (118/20) as they walked.
Just occurred to me that taking down interprovincial trade barriers could have implications for Mennonite farmers sausage #AffairOfTheSausages
No but I had a cocktail party
