go dig this out. I had patients quote this letter verbatim as their reasons for not vaccinating.
Yelling at them for being sup is or duped was not the solution.

Very sturdy limb you have chosen 👍
Yes… a group I am in, one member shared this story.. your assessment in a nutshell.
Right into the school room. 🥺
My first SBM article 5 years ago showed how Prasad was an unreliable ideologue. It aged very well.
He’s forfeited his right to be taken seriously ever again and anyone who does so should be ignored as well.
Willem seems inclined to hate (as per the bio). And inclined to paste their own words as yours. Today was your turn to get caught in the spray.
I suspect (actually I know) your job is similar to mine. Everyone thinks they can do it but few want to _actually_ do it.
But he did not say “it’s ok if you question vaccines”.
You did.
He said “it’s ok to ask questions”.

That’s our job.. to answer questions.
But there are unfortunately some who don’t take step to incorporate the answer (because they are looking for confirmation of bias)

This resonated: But informed consent doesn’t require physician neutrality. It requires that patients have accurate information, the capacity to understand it, and freedom from coercion.
A long but worthwhile read as to how MAHA has usurped “Shared Decision Making” in their anti-health agenda.

I think this has been one of the greatest disappointments (amongst many) post pandemic. Here I was hoping I’d have all this rapid antigen (or even PCR) testing available at point of care so I could say, “See. It really is a virus. No you don’t need antibiotics”.
Rapid RSV tests linked to less antibiotic prescribing in kids
An Italian study finds an RSV-positive rapid antigen test in children aged nine to 36 months was associated with a 48% reduced risk of receiving an antibiotic.

Precisely.
They certainly don’t listen to my composting or zucchini growing advice either… 🤦♂️

I honestly never thought our (well American) educational institutions would be so spineless and starstruck @joho.bsky.social . Yes, modernize the curriculum but not based on charlatans’ and influencers’ “feels”.
