I went from film to digital longer ago than I care to mention. I cherish the learning I gained from it, but I'lll never go back. I accept that digital makes us less careful (may be the wrong word) photographers, but it's ultimately down to personal choice, I guess. If film's your thing, go for it.
Pavement curves away into the near distance. It is strength with overturned wheelie bins. (Black and white image.)
Set off from my Leeds Airbnb (the worst I've ever stayed in, but that's another story...) and was confronted by this scene of devastation literally 5 minutes after the bin lorry had passed through Kendal Lane. The whole area is awash with litter.

Fair enough!
I had to get over rejecting various foods because of how they looked - fried eggs being a good example - but it was worth the effort. Oat "milk" lasts for ages and even if you don't use much, it'll keep. You can use it in pretty much any situation where you'd use milk, too.
Have you tried one of the non-milk "milks"? I've been on the oat version for about three years and don't miss the dairy version. I've just started having it in coffee (I never drink tea, and I always drank black coffee) and it tastes great. Oat is the best from an environmental perspective, too.
I won't hold my breath, then.
Tell 'em to get a move on - I'm not getting any younger. (Unless the space/time continuum is malleable?)

Yes, that would be interesting! I remember overhearing a Canadian tourist at Bala (our Bala!) suggesting that their next stop would be Dolgellau, or Dolegalaw, as he pronounced it. Not a bad stab, all things considered.
