If you go into thinking it’s a religious thriller, it all makes SO much sense. Doesn’t mean it’s a good movie. But it does feel like a neighbor to Midnight Mass, which is (imho) better in every conceivable way.

They never say “water is the solution” - the news says that “a primitive method” was what defeated the aliens. If it were just water, that would be a weird way to put it. Blessing water and then throwing it at’em? Fits the bill.

Sure, if they're aliens... but Signs is a spiritual thriller dressed up as an alien invasion flick, and the water that's taking them out is holy water.

I don't have any particular affection for the movie, but I'm pretty sure that's been the general consensus for a WHILE now.

In that case, it’s probably about how involved the artist is in the process. I worked with Gotta Groove Records on our last album (indie pressing plant here in CLE) and they stress multiple times in the pre-order process how having a vinyl-specific master matters. Mass market probably doesn’t care.
