I love optimizing my dev workflows; it's meditative. This weekend, mid-tweaking, I thought, "AI will do this soon. What's the point?" I'm ready for that future, but I'll miss the craft of tool sharpening. Some things are worth doing just because.

I thought this wasn’t my type of game. But a friend loved it so much I eventually tried it. I got hooked. Lots of NES Zelda vibes and the store mechanic was a lot of fun. One of the few games I have rolled credits on.
